Dotcomgiftshop sale buys.

So today I thought I would spend the whole day drinking and looking online in the sales! As that is how exciting my New Years Eve is! But I have got some cool bargains that I obviously didn't need, but that are so cute, I just HAD to have :) There are 4 items and with postage it came to £11.64!
Dotcomgiftshop is a really cool website, with loads of cute and quirky things, I usually find gift websites can be full of tacky stuff, but not this one :) Also the sale is amazing, pages and pages and pages full of lovelyness! So much money off! So here is what I purchased...

This purchase was a bit random but I have lots of stud earrings and little bits that get lost easily, especially hair grips! And I have been looking for a trinket box, and this doughnut is not my usual style (vintage/shabby chic) but I thought it was sooooo cute and pink and lovely and for less than £2 I couldn't really say no!

Charity shop playsuit OOTN

So in my last post I wrote a little bit about my new playsuit that was £5 from a charity shop. I wore it out the other night for a Chrismas meal and thought I would take some photos before the night to show you how I styled it, and another chance to test out my new camera! :)

My eyes are retarded, but I found a festive 'JOY' sign and got excited.

So I decided to wear the black and white aztec playsuit with a white cardigan for warmth and comfort and a burgundy bowler hat to add some colour :)

It was the perfect thing to wear for a roast! roomy!!

Charity Shop Challenge

So I have not been on here since October! Oops, but I am going to be on here a lot more from Jan 1st! This is because this is when my Charity Shop challenge starts, where I am only going to be buying my clothes from charity shops, for a whole year! It's very exciting, and I am hoping to blog and vlog some of it :)
I am really excited to try this because as much as I love some clothes from high street shops, shopping in them stresses me out, the people, what to buy, trying to keep up with whatever trends are in.. I find shopping in charity shops so exciting, I could spend hours in them! so you may be thinking it won't be a challenge for me but I am pretty sure it will! I do buy clothes from them regularly but I've never found jeans or trousers in them, or coats so it's going to be interesting. And also ofcourse it means all the money I spend on clothes will be going to charity, lots of different charities! Which is amazing. Charity shops also tend to be bloody cheap! So I can start saving my money from my new job to pay off my overdraft or save, or whatever :) So atm I am really super excited for it and I can't wait to start! I thought I'd get in the charity shop mood by showing you a playsuit I got the other day from scope! I am in love with it! It has a super cute black and white aztec print and was originally from glamourous which I think they sell at New look? It was only £5 and fits really nice! It isn't too lose on the top so doesn't make me look bigger than I am as it goes in nice at the waist, but it's quite loose at the bottom so feels kinda like a dress and it's super comfy.

Also these photos were taken with my new Nikon L820 bridge camera which I am very excited to play around with! As will be using it a lot soon! :)

But yes, more will be happening on here soon, promise :)

Today I went to some charity shops in my local town and although I only got 2 tops I really like them :) a spotty one and a floral one :) both £2.49 each :) I love how the spotty one is so easy to dress up but wear it with Jeans ans it's casual :) the floral one is very soft and floaty, nice for this autumn weather with a big cardigan :)

I apologise that I have not been very active recently on here! I have been working a lot and I haven't got a working laptop and blogging on my phone can seem like a chore but I am using the computer at home today and will try and do this more often! :)
Today I am going to be updating you with some bargains I have recently purchased!! I have been doing charity shop shopping a bit more recently because I work in Norwich and when Dad takes me into work sometimes he parks at this place where there is LOADS :) They are really cheap too! One is 2 items for £1.. so I have picked some things up recently!! :D

£10.16 Charity shop haul.

That's right, I went shopping in charity shops again! My absolute favourite thing to do! I went in my nearest town, they have quite a few charity shops, I went in 5 of them and got 4 items and only spent £10.16! And 2p of that was on a plastic bag! I am sooooo chuffed with my finds!! :D

Proper good finds and I am so chuffed even though I did choose to go shopping mg instead of paying rent to my mother and going for a meal with Matt oops but so so worth it! Am going mg to work on putting some outfits together for better photis i think aka non mirror ones! Also another thing I am happy about is that I didn't try the peplum on and it's a size 10 and fits nice :)

Charity.

I LOVE charity shops, I find it so exciting shopping in them! You never know what you may find. I go through every single thing! I can be in there for a while and I LOVE it when I come out with some lovely items. This happened the other day! I had some time to spare in my nearest town so thought I would pop in the charity shops. I didn't find much in any until I got to the last one! I came out with 3 items!
I like to try things on in charity shops because sometimes I really like something so much but it's in a bigger size so I see what it looks like and if it can still be worn and still look nice.
I found a coral lacey top with a collar but it was a size 16. I am so glad I tried it on because it looks so nice a bit baggy! The colour also suits myskin tone because I am a little tanned :)
The next thing I got was a red silky blouse with 3 quarter length buttoned up sleeves. I love red and I hardly wear it. I have some other red shirts but they are all sleeveless. I wore this the other night with leggings for a cinema date and I felt really comfortable, but also classy and ladylike :)
My 3rd item is a warehouse blazer with a pattern all over it. It is blue and white with diamonds all over it. It's so gorgeous. A size 10 but I don't have it done up and because I am short the sleeves are a bit long but I pull them up. I am waiting for the perfect moment to wear this and atm I think I will have to wait til it gets a bit colder!

I am hoping to do some more charity shopping tomorrow, probably on my own so I can proper go through everything. I need to stop buying tops though! I need skirts/shorts/trousers! I don't have much to wear on my legs in the summer except dresses really... so I will be looking for some shorts and skirts! New dresses are always good though and bags! :D And shoes! Hahaha :)

Lighter.

I think I have lost half a stone :) I have been on and off 10 stone for a while and that's the heaviest I have ever been but today I was right on the half mark, sometimes in the morning I am just a little less than 10 stone, but this was right on half!! So I am seeing progess. I haven't done a lot for it tbh, just eating less, slimfast most weeks, no snacking and I did do running but I haven't done that in a while!
Anyway this is a boring post but I am happy. I want to be back to 9 stone! :D

Bags of fun.

At this moment I am babysitting my nieces, I thought to occupy myself whilst they sleep I would internet browse. I am looking for a new bag! I love a shop called lisaangel and have found their bag section on their website and its beautiful and full of wonderful bags! So I shall post about a few! :)

olive green double buckle bag £21.60. This bag practical as it's big and it's oh so cute in this colour! I have wanted a satchel for a while but some are a bit too bright for me, I really like this lighter colour :)

This is as cute as the bag before but a bit more practical for trips out to the beach or weekends away as its biiiiig. The detail on it is so cute, look at the little bikes and all the flowers! The back is just as gorgeous!! It's more expensive but as it's bigger and can get used a lot I think it's worth it, and its also in the sale, so is supposed to be even more expensive :) I want this now!!!

This bag is so delightfully cute! It's perfect for going shopping or somewhere when you need to take some essentials that won't fit in a small bag but you don't need a massive bag. And the swans are just so cute! WANT. Also the back  has swans all over it :)

Better.

So my job trial went better than I thought, knew it would, I just stress myself out about it! I should get a call soon! I pulled my first pints! :D
It's now the weekend and this makes me super happy! Firstly because I feel like I am allowed to relax, even though really I relax all the time, also it's hot! And I spent the morning with Lottie in her French lesson and then at the beach!! :D Another reason I am happy that it is the weekend is because it means I get to see Matt tomorrow!! He has been on holiday all week with his friends in Kos and gets back early tomorrow morning. We are used to not seeing each other because we were long distance for like all of our relationship but now I am back in Norfolk it's really boring and sad without him so I am very excited to see him again!
I have included some photos from the morning on the beach with Lottie! I love living near the beach, it's only a 5 minute drive, although at this one you have to park at the top of the cliff and walk down 2 really steep paths! VERY steep. But worth it because it's never packed, and Lottie loved it :) I shall be going there again soon for sure, maybe taking Matt and some photos of us, if he lets me! :)

Nervous.

So I have a job trial tomorrow. The interview obviously went well. Tbh interviews don't really scare me, I know what they want to hear I think.. I'm an actress so it seems to come easy but tomorrow is really scaring me. I am doing bar work and I have never done this before. I just hope he doesn't leave me on my own to like serve, I panic.. Things like this make my anxiety go crazy.. I think of all the possible things that could go wrong, like me not knowing what goes in a certain drink, or getting the till wrong, or dropping something, or the boss being mean to me or anything when in reality I know most of this won't happen. I think I am just scared of the unknown.. but it stops me from going out and doing things and atm I really need to get out of this house and do something with my life and I just hope it doesn't ruin my chances.

Keep Calm and Carry on.

So alot has been happening.
I went on holiday with my family and Matt, it was lovely! We stayed in Sandford near Pool Monday-Thursday and then Pagham Friday-Sunday! The weather was hot all week and we visited some lovely beaches! I also checked out Marwell Zoo with Matt whilst the kids went to Peppa Pig World with the others, it had so many animals, and there was so much space! Took us about 4 hours to see it all! Was well worth it though!
I have come back quite golden/red, I love it when that happens, people can tell I have been away!
On the way home I got some good news and some bad news. I got my results for my BA! I got a 2:2, which is good and bad. It's amazing I passed and turned it around from a third because at the beginning of the year I wasn't doing so well, and I got two really high 2:1s in there as well, but I was just 3 percent of a 2:1 which is slightly annoying but hey, all good! I get to graduate in October!! Eeek! Bad news.. my Nan has mouth cancer, this shook me and my parents up a bit on the way home. She lives near us so we went to see her as soon as we got home, she looks and sounds fine though which is good. She has an 8 hour operation in a few weeks, she will be staying in hospital for a week which she will hate as she hates hospitals but hopefully they have caught it soon! Just really upsetting.
I was thinking about it and it's weird, everyone knows about cancer, but you don't seem to get off your arse and do something about it until it hurts someone you love.When my Grandad got cancer I did exactly that, I did the race for like twice. This has happened and I am doing The Mouth Cancer Walk in September at Hyde Park. I am hoping it will spread awareness and hopefully I can raise a bit of money!
But yes the post title today is Keep Calm and Carry on, and I hope to do this by keeping busy! I had a job interview yesterday at Hollywood Bowl which was actually really fun! I met some lovely people and it was more of like a workshop so I am totally used to that :) I should hear soon. I am also volunteering tomorrow at Norwich Lanes Summer Fayre! I am near the vintage stall as well which is very exciting, hopefully I will get a chance to have a look my self! :)
Before I go to the fayre tomorrow it is Lottie's 4th birthday party, there's going to be 25 children all at the playbarn my mum runs, going to be mental but cute :) So I am glad I can still go to that. :D
This may be a very boring post to most but I feel like I had to write it down somewhere haha :)

It's all boaty like! I would feel so sailor like! Also they are all handmade :D And it's only £2.53

This shop has so many things though that are as gorgeous as this! Lots of Harry Potter things, and I spotted the infinty symbol a lot! It's just very gorgeous and so cheap so you should check it out for sure :)

People that know me know that I have a slight obsession with animals, I have started a cuddly animal colletion, and now my animal necklaces are starting to grow! But I have not get any animal bracelets or any giraffes at all in my collection and this is lovely!

So cute and dainty! I would just look at my wrist and be like 'Awww I have a giraffe on me!' :D And it's only £1.79 :)

As much as I really dislike biking, because it took me so long to learn how to do it and when I did learn I just came falling off, and it was a very stressful time for me when I was younger I do love this necklace, it makes bikes seem nice and cute.

exhausted.

So what's been going on.. my last post was about me accepting that I was bigger, because of this I decided to do something about it! Every day since Sunday I have gone on a 12/13 min run every evening. This may not sound like much but for a girl who HATES running/exercise it's pretty impressive, espesh every day, I have not been doing much else, just the occasional shift at work, but for some reason my body is hating me today! So exhausted and weak! I want to power through it but I just feel like sleeping! I was supposed to go out this evening with my best friend Molly but my body is to tired to drink/socialise leave the house! What is going on?! :( I need a massage and a 4 hour long bath!
I may just put on my pjs and light some candles and feel sorry for myself. This is a really really moany post I apologise for this :(

Acceptance?

Today seemed like a big step for me, it wasn't really, but it seemed huge.. I went shopping and bought things that were a size 12-14, things that suited my shape, no small shorts, no bikinis. I am probably the biggest I have ever been but I have gradually got to this size over the last 2 years but today is probably the first time I kind of gave in. Usually I would buy the things I used to wear and just be like 'it will fit me soon' But it never does and I just end up looking like a heffer. I do not want to be a heffer, I became lazy so I have to deal with it and atm that means I am a lot curvier than usual, espesh in the thigh/belly department. But it's okay if I can still look good.. I am working on that. But I am also working on trying to exercise as well.. I can be quite lazy and don't like healthy food so it's a bit difficult but hey acceptance is the first step right?

Busy bee

Recently I have been quite busy hence the not blogging much.
Yesterday I went and performed a performance that me and people from University won awards for at Winchester Theatre Royal! All very exciting, we took it to a college in Essex and they seemed to like it :)
I signed on the other day so I can get money from Job Seekers, which is depressing but atm very much needed, even though I am applying for like everything everywhere!!
Today I am working with my Mum for a bit, probably like 2 hours but it's very sunny so I don't think I will be that busy!
Tomorrow I am doing a carboot with my friend Molly! :) We have a lot of stuff to get rid of because both of us have recently moved back home! Then straight after that I am looking after my nieces at 2 all night at my house, then Sunday I don't know, I may get time to relax! :)
It's 10 days until my hoilday to Poole today! Very exciting! Going with my parents and Matt. My sister, her husband and my nieces are meeting us half way through it :) Hope it's sunny!!
I will hopefully go shopping sometime soon so I can post about clothes, I feel I need some new jeans and shirts! And a swimming costume! :)

I spy.

Today I thought instead of doing the mountain or ironing I have or carry on looking for jobs, I would have a look on etsy to see if I could find anything interesting. I didn't really know what I was looking for so I searched 'vintage hispter' because although I do not ever want to class myself as a hipster I knew some call things would come up and they did!
I came across some hair chalks! Now I saw some like this in Topshop and was tempted to try it out but they were quite pricey. I don't even know if I would use them, it would be cool to try them out though! I have blonde messy hair and some colour may look nice at the bottom :)
