Exciting news?

So my Mum sent me a message on Facebook last night but I got it like 3 hours late and couldn't reply straight away and was like AHH give me more information woman! But anyway.. what she said was that she wants me to be a story teller for children at the playbarn she coowns in the village that I live in! I will have a tshirt saying story teller, and will do half hour sessions reading books and using propers/puppets/actions. Sounds quite exciting and fun! And I'll get paid and it will get me out of the house ha. I will start in the Easter to see how it goes :) It's free for the children to go so I think it will go quite well, who would turn down a free story teller? Espescially one who will have a degree in performance! I will have to practise on Lottie. Lottie is my 3 year old niece, she is going to be such a drama queen. I ask her to act out lots of different types of emotions and she does it it's so funny haha :)
I should be doing work.. I am in the learning cafe at uni, but it's very loud.. there was no space in the library, bummer 'cos I love working in there. Alice has given me her room for 2-3 which is good, oh shit, 2 oclock is quite soon, ah 40 minutes to know exactly what I am doing, ahhhhhh. Bye!

mundane.

Planned half of my piece now :)
I went to town and got spinach and rricotta filled pasta and sauce, POUND EACH! And some bread and pate, because I like pate lots :) Ardennes, yummy.
I am now home, eaten tea and chilling with the girlies.
I went to a charity shop but everything was quite expensive, lamee.
I have realised my blog posts are becoming quite mundane because I am doing it so often! My bad! I may add more photos and talk about more interresting things soon...
I am liking just writing though, it's therapeutic :)
I am going to eat pate on rricecakes now even though I have had tea. I like food.
Smurph drew a penis ring on my finger... sneaky.
I am going to chill tonight, I'd like to think I deserrve it..

day plan.

Right I need to finish this plan of my performance asap.
I will then go home, carrying all the heavy stuff again!
I want to then go into town, I need food badly and I want to get some more things from charity shops :) I am loving collars and want more shirts!!
I also need to get some envelopes!
Tomorrow I don't have a studio, so I am going to spend tomorrow on the rest of the planning, Friday I am in at 9-10 and then 3-5 with a meeting at 12 in the middle with someone from a theatre to talk about our theatre company going somewhere, so that's exciting and I will update you on that on Friday!
I hate the fact badgers are getting culled.. it's just come on the radio, and as random as this is it's so sad! I think they're kinda cute! If fox hunting is illegal then culling badgers should also be..

Positive?

Well that went okay I think?
I showed my supervisor the material I have and he talked me through it at the end which was extremely helpful. We decided I wasn't putting enough into it, not taking enough chances. It has changed a bit, so it will be more interesting to perform, and to watch. He got me to improvise some of the secrets which was slightly embarrasing but I created exciting material, some of which involves me switching from being angry to dry humping the floor/wall/invisible barrier infront of audience... interesting and slightly cringey but if it will get me a good mark I am okay for faking orgasms infront of a few people!
Right now I am in the libary and I am looking down on a group of girls outside, they just watched what seemed like a performance in a field and now they are walking off.. strange..
Anyway now I have to come up with a more exciting and real 'movement' for each of my secrets. I need to take the emotion out and use it. They all have to vary so I have a lot to think about. This is all very scary as I perform on Monday! Eeekaleek
I best try and crack on but no doubt I'll be on here later as the library is quite boring and all you can hear is the clicking of the keyboard keys which is strangely a nice sound. People say I type really angrily though.. I do not agree with this!

Currently sat in my booked out studio at uni waiting for my tutor to come In and see my work. Cacking myself. And I'm knackered! Carrying a camera and tripod to uni is hardwork! Also I am vrry hungry but only have dark chocolate digestives.. I'm too poorrrrrr. Right better crack on!

Mandelion.

I can't explain why I am obsessed with this picture but I am, and have been since seeing it for the first time a few months back. I love it, it's so clever. I have always found dandelions pretty and wanted a tattoo of one, but showing the life cycle of humans and dandelions in one picture is genius! I really want a tattoo of one of them on me, but I am not suree which one, I like the Dandelion when it's all seedy.. Oh I am going on a bit.. but it's just so prettyyy.

Individual Project

These photos are from my IP rehearsals for my final project in 3rd year.
I am doing a solo performance based on secrets and the power of being anonymous.
My character is a secret collecter, who has collected secrets for most of her life because it made her feel close to people. She lets these secrets go for others.
My performance is a 'session' where I let go of some of these secrets in front of a small audience, taking them on a tour whilst I do this. I then let go of the Audience's secrets.
I always get really stressed out about solo performances because I am on my own, and I have to go with my instinct. I am performing on Monday!! I am first! I am pretty nervous but aim to work all of this week on it!
I need to buy more envelopes because I want them all over the space! I want it to be very messy :) But organised :) Ah it's helped writing all this down!

University is getting a bit mental, so I thought to write a to do list/calender of events on here, so it's all in one place, all organised and such.

Shirt without sleeves!

Well that was quick. It just had sleeves on before.. but I really like it now! The seelves didn't suit me much and I am loving sleeveless things atm! Just wish it was warm enough..... may look  good over a black sleeved top though :) Or open, and possibly with a belt.. the possibilities :)

OXFAM DIY FASHION BLOGGER?

Hey Blogger!
I was looking on websites to see if there were any volunteering opportunities near me and I found myself on Oxfam's website. There is a chance to be a volunteering Oxfam DIY fashion blogger! You blog 2 times a month about things that you have brought and edited from a charity shop.
I LOVE charity shops so this really excited me.
I need to take step by step photos of me making the clothes :)
I think I am going to do a fringed tee, as I did this to one of my Dad's old t-shirts and love it!
Also a simple one but cutting the sleeves off a shirt that looks a holiday worker should wear, once the sleeves are off it looks fab! I need to come up with an Easter fashion idea too!
I will upload photos soon, but I have a feeling that I left the tshirt at home home! Which is rather annoying!
I will look in charity shops again this week to make more.
I also need to do something with a red glittery shirt I purchased for a Keith Lemon night, I wore it and weirdly fell in love with it but I think I want the sleeves off! I may do that now! :)
